How to Make OHA SOUP

Oha Soup is a Nigerian soup from south east . It is commonly found in Nigerian restaurants. It is served with garri or pounded yam. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How to make OHA SOUP: Steps on how to prepare Oha soup: * boil meat with seasoning cubes, salt and onions. * wash and cook cocoyam Until it's properly cooked, peel and blend or pound into a thick paste. Set aside. * when the meat is done, add little water, blended yellow pepper, dried fish and palm oil, stir nicely and cover to boil. * after few minutes when the oil in the soup is done, add grinded Crayfish, and scoops of cocoyam paste then add the ogiri (compulsory ) do not stir, cover to cook and the cocoyam will dissolve itself and thicken the soup. * lastly, add uziza leaves and oha leaves, stir well and cover to steam for a minute or two. Serve with any swallow of choice..
